It's late August, and the millions of sockeye salmon that enter the Alagnak River in late June/early July have completed their journey upriver to their spawning beds. Here they face their final perils on their incredible journey, as brown bears anticipate one last salmon feast before the harsh winter, and big rainbow trout anticipate their annual feast of salmon eggs.
